I cherished the tuition opportunity that I had in preparation for the GCE A Levels Examination. Tuition had helped to reinforce the concepts that were being taught in school, and this enhanced my learning process. I especially valued the numerous A Level Past Exam papers and practices given by Dr Teo, as they were instrumental in preparing me for the examinations.  More importantly, Dr Teo was very nurturing and patient in her teaching. She was clear and concise in her explanations, and would always prepare her lessons well. Dr Teo was also readily available for consultation whenever I had doubts. Her teaching style catered to my learning needs, and that made my tuition experience very worthwhile and enjoyable.

I would like to thank Dr Doreen Teo for guiding me in Chemistry throughout my JC years. I am a slow learner and could not really catch up with the pace of teaching in school. Luckily, I was recommended to Dr Teo while in the search of a tutor. She was really patient and did not mind going through concepts over and over again till i got them, answering all the questions I had, sometimes overrunning the lesson time in the process. Her utmost dedication towards making sure that I grasp the subject well was what touched me most. Dr Teo is a very knowledgable teacher who knew her work well, not only in my A Levels H2 Chemistry, but also my H3 syllabus. My A for H2 and Merit for H3 are really the fruits of her labour and I am really happy and fortunate to have her as a tutor. Thank you Dr Teo, you are really awesome!(:

Dr Teo has been an excellent chemistry teacher throughout my A level preparation. She consistently drilled me in the chemistry concepts and cleared my many misconceptions. Furthermore, she never gives up on her student and would always strive to encourage me when I was lost and out. Thank you for being such an excellent teacher, a mentor and a friend.

Before I joined Dr Teo’s tuition classes, Chemistry was one big confusing mess to me. I remember not doing well in both minor and major exams during my JC1 year - I felt as though my Chemistry would be unsalvageable. But after I enrolled in classes late in my JC2 year, I saw improvement that was apparent and immediate. Core concepts became clearer to me and that really boosted my confidence in the subject. Dr Teo’s precise, detailed and personalized teaching style is effective and helped me tackle difficult topics in a short amount of time. Moreover, Dr Teo ensured that I understood the ideas and theories behind the questions in practice papers instead of just memorizing what was in the textbook. This was a great help when it came to overcoming challenging questions I encountered during my ‘A’ levels.

Dr Teo is a very attentive teacher who cares for the well-being of her students. Even on the eve of my Chemistry examination, she never fails to go the extra mile and answer my questions promptly, helping me to clear my doubts and show care and concern by gently reminding me to stay calm for the paper. Under her guidance, I have gained so much newfound knowledge for Chemistry, and developed a stronger interest for the subject, inspiring me to work harder and improve my Chemistry results. Dr Teo always uses innovative methods to simplify complex Chemistry concepts for her students to better understand the basic principles, so that we are able to avoid common mistakes made by others. She is also a very friendly and amicable mentor who never fails to engage me in the learning process, making every tuition session enjoyable. It has definitely been a rewarding and enriching experience to learn under Dr Teo.
